"Maui's youth will be in the spotlight at Flatbread Co.'s benefit night from 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, with the Paia restaurant donating a portion of the evening's pizza sales to EdVenture's College for Kids program at the University of Hawaii Maui College," according to the Maui News.
"College for Kids holds multiday sessions throughout the school year as well as the "Saturday Fun Series." The classes are designed to prepare kids for the college experience and provide an opportunity to explore a variety of career paths, including animation, Web design, photojournalism, video game production, acting and "starting a kid business."
