According to a news report from RTE.ie, “Domino’s Pizza has reported that sales rose nearly 15% year-on-year in the first six months of 2007, with profits up 35% at £8.3m.”
“E-commerce sales rose 42.1% to £13.6m, partly due to a television sponsorship deal with The Simpsons on Sky One, and helped along by the recent poor weather which kept people indoors,” said the story. “In the six months the group launched online ordering in Ireland and said it was pleased with progress, despite a ‘slow start’.”
