According to a report from Milwaukee.bizjournals.com, “Radio station WTOP is getting some pizza, and this time it’s the pizza company that’s doing the paying.”
The report said, “Ledo Pizza has struck a deal with the news-radio station, owned by Bonneville International, to become the exclusive sponsor of its “glass-enclosed nerve center.” The amount paid for the sponsorship was not disclosed.”
Every day for the remainder of the year, listeners will be reminded that what they’re hearing is from the Ledo Pizza glas-enclosed nerve center, the report said.
The article stated: “Max Schmitz, president of Fort Washington-based Maximilian Communications, which negotiated the deal for the Annapolis-based pizza chain, says it was looking for “a reach monster” to deliver a new kind of branding for Ledo.”
