Pizza lovers in Fenton, Michigan, have more than one reason to root for long distance runner Grant Fisher in the 2024 Summer Olympics. If the Grand Blanc, Michigan native wins a medal, they win free pies from Boston’s Pizza.
As long as they’re signed up for the brand’s MyBoston’s Rewards loyalty program, that is.
The franchisee’s Wings for Rings campaign includes a 50% discount on wings offered to loyalty members on August 2 and 7, the days on which Fisher will compete at the Olympics in Paris. If Fisher earns a medal in either the men’s 10,000-meter or 5,000-meter race—the two events for which he qualified this year—customers will get a free Indy pizza, which is a personal-sized, six-slice pie. The freebies will be awarded on August 11, the day of the Olympics’ closing ceremony.

Fisher is a native of Grand Blanc, which, like Fenton, is located in Genesee County, Michigan.
“We like to support all local athletics,” franchise owner Rocky Dedivanaj told MLive.com. “We saw the opportunity for a local Grand Blanc resident that was competing in the Olympics in Paris, and that’s a big deal for us.”
Locals are invited to watch the games at Boston’s Pizza, although, due to a six-hour time zone difference, Fisher’s races won’t necessarily air on TV during the restaurant’s opening hours. But the offer will be valid anyway.
Meanwhile, Boston’s Pizza, which has more than 400 stores in 17 states, will celebrate the Olympic games systemwide with its seasonal “Summer of Gold” menu.
