EDMONTON, ALBERTA–(Marketwire – Oct. 18, 2010) – Pizza 73 is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month. To mark the occasion, the pizza chain will be hosting a two week Slices for Smiles fundraiser in October to benefit Children’s Miracle Network hospitals across Western Canada.
From October 18 to October 30, Pizza 73 locations in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan will be selling online a 12″ 2-Topper Everyday Deal for $19.85, which consists of two pizzas or a pizza and wing meal. Fifty-cents from the sale of this menu item will go towards Children’s Miracle Network and the four children’s hospitals it supports in Western Canada.

Customers can also contribute to the cause by adding donations to their orders online, in store and by phone. Together with its parent company Pizza Pizza, the Slices for Smiles Fund has raised more than $400,000 for Children’s Miracle Network to date.
In addition to the fundraiser, as part of the 25th anniversary festivities Pizza 73 lovers will also have the opportunity to scratch and win for great prizes that include all-inclusive trips to Varadero, Cuba, 42″ plasma televisions and thousands of food prizes.
