“This year, it is especially important for us to give because so many families are in need due to Covid,” says Adrienne Berkes, Pieology’s chief marketing officer. “In this time of economic uncertainty, a global pandemic and high unemployment, raising awareness and funds to help solve hunger in our communities is urgent. This is just our way of helping out.”
With an eye on growth and operational excellence, Pieology plans to continue to serve local communities, while adding new locations nationwide. Founded in 2011, the fast-casual pizza company currently operates more than 130 stores.
The Feeding America Network has 200 food banks and 60,000 pantries and meal programs around the U.S. The Food Depot specifically works to address food insecurity in northern New Mexico.
