According to CTPost.com, “Frank Pepe’s Pizzeria Napoletana has been a fixture in New Haven for over 85 years. Now, local fans no longer have to make the long drive to enjoy Pepe’s pizza, following the recent opening of its new Danbury location.”

“For several days before the grand opening on Jan. 31, Pepe’s quietly served free pizza to devotees and introduced itself to those unfamiliar with its popular product. Since that time, Danbury’s Pepe’s has become a magnet for pizza-lovers — tables full, hungry diners eagerly waiting and streams of customers picking up take-out orders. Ken Berry, 58, of Southington, Pepe’s chief operating officer, explained why its pizza has always been such a big draw. ‘It’s an artisan-made product, using high-quality ingredients.”
