Brian Bailey is Domino’s largest U.S. franchisee, but his start in the business could not have been humbler. Long before he built up a portfolio of 160 stores in five states, he was living with his parents and dropping off pies at customers’ doors as a delivery driver. And before that, he studied to be, of all things, a rocket scientist.
In the latest episode of Peel: A PMQ Pizza Podcast, Brian Hernandez sat down to chat with Bailey about his journey to success. “We set a goal of 50 stores in five years, and we did that in three,” Bailey explains. “Then we set a goal of 100 stores, and we did that in about three-and-a-half years.”
Bailey adds, “The American Dream is still alive and well in America. If you’re willing to work hard and you’ve got the drive and discipline, the sky is still the limit, especially in pizza.”
