According to Gothamist.com, “Patsy’s—the OG Patsy’s, one of the first New York pizzerias—is celebrating their 77th year as a fixture in East Harlem and the hearts of pizza lovers everywhere. And by celebrating, we mean basically giving pizza away. Not only will the taste be as good as their 1930s beginnings, but the prices will be too. Pizza is 60¢, 20 times cheaper than the regular $12, and everything else on the menu—including a 12 oz. steak—is 90¢ and below.”

“This isn’t the first time the legendary pizzeria has rolled back the clock. In past years, the exceptional anniversary discount has gotten an overwhelming response, leading to long lines and an early end to the special. However, manager John Brecevitch assures us that this year will be different: ‘We’re better supplied… we just want to make everybody happy and give back to the community that’s supported us for all these 77 years. There is going to be a long line, but if [people] come at a reasonable time they should be serviced.'”
