Parry’s Pizzeria & Taphouse, a New York-style brand, opened a location in Sugar Land, Texas, on Monday, November 18, its first in that city.
Parry’s offers more than 70 beers on draft along with everyday specials like $10.99 lunch combos from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., early-dine specials from 3 to 6 p.m., and happy hour specials.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony, presented by the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, took place on Friday, November 15, and the first 25 parties in line for the opening on November 18 received a prize bag valued up to $50.
For its first two days in operation, Parry’s raffled off free pizza and lunch specials that could be redeemed once a week for the next six months, with 20 winners chosen.
Parry’s launched in 2007 as a New York-style pizza joint—complete with a New York warehouse feel—where customers could grab a quick bite and a beer or a glass of wine. Over the past 17 years, the brand has evolved into a complete dining experience and a haven for beer lovers.
Parry’s partners with numerous community groups, including schools, churches and nonprofits, to host donation nights throughout the year. A portion of every Parry’s Pint sold is donated to nonprofit partners as part of the company’s “Pennies from Pints” program. The Sugar Land location will support Fort Bend Paws with its Pennies from Pints donations.
