Papa Gino’s Pizzeria, D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches, and their parent company New England Authentic Eats, LLC,  are celebrating their long-time partnership with the Jimmy Fund by revitalizing their annual fundraisers and participating in new initiatives, like their sponsorship of the Jimmy Fund 5K & Fun Run, which was held this past Sunday.

Over the past 10 years, Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches have raised more than $1.3 million in support of the Jimmy Fund through their “Grand Slam Savings for a Great Cause” coupon sheet program. This year, the restaurants increased that total by breaking their personal fundraising record, raising over $100,000 in just four short weeks! One hundred percent of proceeds from the month-long promotion went directly to the Jimmy Fund in support of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and their lifelong mission to fight cancer.

“We are incredibly proud to support the Jimmy Fund, an organization that shares our New England roots and has improved the lives of millions of people across the country. This cause is one that our team members are extremely passionate about, and it is their increased engagement and enthusiasm this year that has led to record-breaking results. As a part of the local New England community, we have long supported this partnership, and we are committed to continuing to support the Jimmy Fund in the same way that they support those in need,” said New England Authentic Eats CEO Bill Van Epps.

Guests looking to join Papa Gino’s & D’Angelo in support of their fight against cancer can stop into their local Papa Gino’s or go online to papaginos.com to purchase the Jimmy Fund Meal Deal. With every purchase of the Meal Deal, Papa Gino’s gives two dollars back to the Jimmy Fund.
