There’s just something about a Greek pizza. Here, Mama LaRosa Foods shares a recipe for The Olympian, featuring Neapolitan-style dough, chicken, Kalamata olives, feta cheese and other fresh ingredients. Try this out as a limited-time offer at your pizzeria, and it might end up making your permanent menu!
Ingredients:
1 10-oz. “00” Neapolitan-style dough ball (makes a 10” to 12” pizza)
Olive oil
⅓ c. Kalamata olives (cut in half)
⅓ c. banana pepper rings
½ c. cooked chicken, julienned
⅓ c. sliced bell peppers
⅓ c. feta cheese
⅓ c. mozzarella cheese
Directions:
Lightly dust the dough ball with flour or cornmeal. Stretch the 10” dough ball to fit a 12” screen. Lightly brush with olive oil and add toppings. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top to hold down toppings. Bake until crispy.
