Metairie, LA.– In spite of the troubled economy, one local company is growing by leaps and bounds. Rotolo’s Pizzeria, the official pizza of the New Orleans Saints & the Louisiana Superdome is opening its thirteenth location this Saturday in Metairie.
“We’re very excited to see the company growing this fast, “ said co-owner Todd Trosclair, who explained that this is one of four new restaurants that will open in the New Orleans area before December. The expansion will add 100 new jobs to the area and revenues will exceed $10million next year.
Rotolo’s will host a Grand Opening party on July 10th from 3 to 7pm at 2125 Veteran’s Memorial Blvd. in Metairie. Festivities will include visits from the Saintsations, Saint’s item giveaways, 100 free pizzas to the first 100 customers, and a spacewalk for kids.
In addition to the New Orleans area, Rotolo’s is planning to open locations in Belle Chase, as well as Watson and Central, Louisiana. Rotolo’s will expand out of state with a franchise opening in Arizona this Fall.
The first Rotolo’s Pizzeria was founded by Mitch Rotolo in 1994 in Tigerland by the LSU campus. Rotolo’s is the Official Pizza of the New Orleans Saints, a partnership which has helped spread awareness of the Rotolo’s brand and attracted new Franchisees across the state of Louisiana.
“To be able to grow like this in this kind of economy, really is a blessing and the result of a lot of hard work from many different people on my staff,” says founder Mitch Rotolo who resides in Baton Rouge with his family.
