New Alberta show debuts in Calgary, Oct. 28-29
(Aug. 13/07) The new Alberta Foodservice Show will focus on Alberta’s $6-billion foodservice industry in the country’s number one growth market. Owned and operated by CRFA, the show is scheduled for Oct. 28-29, 2007 in the Roundup Centre of Calgary’s Stampede Park.
This exposition offers a fresh take on a regional trade show, with plenty to see and do. Most importantly, the show will host leading local and national suppliers of food, beverages, equipment and services to enhance your foodservice operation.
The Alberta Foodservice Show will also focus on features including:
- the Rising Star Challenge, as young restaurant and hotel chefs face off
- the Ultimate Cocktail Contest, with new drinks from top bartenders
- Wines of the New World, with great local and international products.
Show seminars will tackle industry issues, with a workshop on Labour Shortage: Management Techniques to Meet the Challenge, led by Ernie Barnard of Cara Restaurants and Gerard Curran of James Joyce Pubs, and a second workshop focusing on Payment Solutions Made Easier and More Secure.
Seminars and registration are complimentary by registering online.
