“Dave Schuler was one happy man Saturday, as he drove away from Town Spa Pizza with a trunk full of his favorite food,” according to the Enterprise News.

“Schuler made national headlines last year when, just as he was about to drive home to Mississippi, he picked up 150 pizzas from his hometown pizza shop.

The Stoughton native has been doing it for years – every time he visits family in Massachusetts, he picks up a stack of pies before driving 1,400 miles back to the South, where he has lived for nearly 40 years.

He returned this year with a bigger order: 100 cheese, 50 pepper and onion and 100 linguica and onion, Schuler’s favorite.

“I think I’ve reached my limit,” he joked Saturday as he tried to figure out how to load five large coolers into his SUV.”
