According to a report on PegasusNews.com, “the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association announced two members were state winners for the annual Restaurant Neighbor Award. The winners are Sharon Von Meter, Milestone Culinary, and CiCi’s Pizza. GDRA will present their awards in September.”
“Other state winners announced by the Texas Restaurant Association were Abuelo’s, Lubbock; and The Breakfast Klub, Houston. All four state winners will now join a group of winners from other states and one national award will be presented in September. The program was created by the National Restaurant Association to honor restaurants’ commitment to community service and innovative community projects and to underscore that restaurants truly are the cornerstone of local communities.”
