MenuDrive, a provider of online and mobile ordering platforms, has joined forces with pizza and delivery point of sale provider, SpeedLine, to create a dynamic ordering system for restaurants nationwide. The partnership stems from a request from one of MenuDrive’s clients, the Michigan-based pizza chain, Cottage Inn Pizza, who introduced the companies and requested an integrated solution. “The integration is a major enhancement to our services,” said MenuDrive’s Business Development Director Aaron Fang. “Cottage Inn and other SpeedLine customers will now be able to streamline their online ordering process by accepting orders directly at the POS. The end result is that restaurants will increase their efficiency, increase their sales, and increase their profitability.”

The integration with SpeedLine shortens service times and eliminates employee entry errors. Customers’ online orders are sent directly to the SpeedLine point of sale system and printed or displayed in the kitchen, improving restaurant operations. SpeedLine customers can also take advantage of MenuDrive’s easy control panel to manage their menus and marketing campaigns. “MenuDrive integrates with SpeedLine Connect to send orders and customer information direct to the SpeedLine POS, and communicates key information such as current delivery times back to the online ordering web site in real time,” explained SpeedLine Marketing Manager Jennifer Wiebe. “The implementation at Cottage Inn has been successful, and we are pleased to introduce MenuDrive to our clients as a new technology choice for their restaurants.”

Cottage Inn Pizza has had great success with MenuDrive’s online ordering system since becoming a client in 2013. The decision to upgrade their existing online ordering site to integrate orders with the SpeedLine POS is yet another enhancement in their overall commitment to efficient operations and customer service. In addition, the chain is taking advantage of the automated marketing and loyalty capabilities of MenuDrive to increase sales and order size. “MenuDrive's online ordering integration with SpeedLine POS is a huge benefit to our operations. Employees save time and have less potential for errors," says Cottage Inn Technical Operations Manager, Travis Miller. With this integration between SpeedLine and MenuDrive, restaurants will see improved overall efficiency and accuracy of their order taking process.
