(Press Release) Tulsa, Okla. August 2, 2012–Tulsa-based Mazzio’s Italian Eatery is making the days of summer even sweeter with the addition of Garlic Knots and two new specialty MasterPizzas to its menu.

Garlic Knots, twists of hand-tossed dough that are baked and brushed with herbed garlic butter, serve as a great starter for dinner. They are available six for $3 or a Baker’s Dozen for $6.

Mazzio’s two new specialty MasterPizzas – The Islander and the Sweet and Spicy BBQ Chicken pizza – are extra large, 15-inch pizzas for $10.50 each.   

The Islander offers a “straight from the tropics” taste with hand-tossed dough and toppings of Canadian bacon, roasted peppers, caramelized onions and pineapple. The Sweet and Spicy BBQ Chicken pizza delivers that summer “right off the grill” flavor with grilled chicken, BBQ sauce, bacon, pepperocinis, caramelized onions and crispy onions on hand-tossed crust.


“The MasterPizzas are a mixture of our customers’ favorite toppings and combinations,” said Greg Lippert, president and CEO. “We always strive to offer tasty new recipes and options on our menu, and these new pizzas are a wonderful addition for summer.”  These two latest additions will be added to a specialty MasterPizza menu that includes: the Napoli, Triple Pepperoni, Margherita, Mediterranean and Create Your Own.

In addition, Mazzio’s Gluten-Free pizza has been added to the menu permanently and is available for delivery. Guests can create their own pizza or choose a specialty gluten-free option.
