“A dozen employees from Stefano’s Solar Powered Pizza in Corte Madera have claimed a Mega Millions prize worth about $300,000, state lottery officials said, according to the Marin Independent Journal. The winning ticket from Tuesday’s drawing was one of two purchased at Jolly King Liquors in Mill Valley. The second, worth about $13,000 was purchased by radio host Sarah Clark and co-workers from her show, Sarah and Vinnie on Alice radio 97.3 in San Francisco.”

“Stefano’s employee Luciano Faria claimed the bigger prize — one of nine statewide — Wednesday afternoon at a lottery office in South San Francisco, lottery spokesman Elias Dominguez said. The group fell just short of the jackpot, with five of six correct lottery numbers. Nobody won the Mega Millions jackpot Tuesday night, which means the jackpot will grow to $500 million for Friday’s drawing.”
