According to Restaurant News Resource, Marco's Pizza, the fastest-growing pizza franchise in the country, has added 131 restaurants so far this year and is exceeding its expansion goals for 2014.
"Just months after opening its 500th store in June, Marco's celebrated the opening of its 565th location and is approaching its next target: 1,000 stores by the end of 2016," Restaurant News Resource said. "The pace of growth is exceeding projections by 40%, putting the company on track to achieve its goal of becoming the country's fourth-largest pizza chain."
