(Press Release) TOLEDO, OHIO, March 11, 2013 – Marco's Pizza, the fastest-growing pizza company in the U.S., has expanded their Ah!thentic Italian pizza menu to include new salads with fresh new ingredients. Four new handcrafted salads have been added to the menu including an Antipasto salad, a Chicken Ceasar salad, a Garden salad and a Greek salad to suit every customer's tastes. Marco's Pizza is offering three size options for the new salads: a regular salad, priced at $5.99, which serves one to two people, a large, family sized salad, priced at $8.99, which serves three to four people and a catering size for meetings and events.
"We wanted to add these fresh, high quality salads to our product mix because we believe they are reflective of our company's classic Italian heritage and food standards," explained Marco's Pizza CEO Jack Butorac. "Sales figures have doubled to quadrupled nationwide since we have added the four new salads to test markets last summer and then to the Marco's national menu on November 1."
The ingredients for the new handcrafted salads include:
Antipasto – Fresh cut lettuce, ham and genoa salami, Marco's three cheese blend, black olives and sliced tomatoes.
Chicken Caesar – Fresh cut lettuce, chicken, parmesan cheese and croutons made on site daily.
Garden – Fresh cut lettuce, cheddar cheese, black olives, onions, green peppers, sliced tomatoes and croutons made on site daily.
Greek – Fresh cut lettuce, feta cheese crumbles, black olives, sliced tomatoes, onions and banana peppers.
