With a new recipe that combines authentic Italian and Mediterranean flavors, Marco’s Pizza, the “Ah!thentic Italian Pizza” company, will introduce the Grilled Chicken Florentine pizza on March 24. Grilled Chicken Florentine is a limited time offering as a complement to their lineup of premium chicken specialty pizzas. The new Grilled Chicken Florentine is a delicious recipe of tender grilled chicken, parmesan garlic sauce, four cheeses including feta, with fresh sliced red onions, fresh sliced tomatoes and fresh spinach, a new topping being added to the Marco’s menu.
Marco’s will celebrate the launch of the new Grilled Chicken Florentine pizza by supporting National Spinach Day on March 26. At participating stores, Marco’s is encouraging customers to trade in one can of spinach for one free medium Grilled Chicken Florentine pizza made with fresh spinach, limit one per family. The company will deliver the cans of spinach collected in the trade to local community food banks.

Alex Yashchishia, a General Manager at Marco’s Pizza in Madison, AL was the winner of the annual pizza contest held by the company. Yashchishia has been an employee of Marco’s Pizza since 2008, when he started as a pizza delivery driver. Over the past six years, he has proven himself to be a dedicated employee who was able to work his way up to a management position and is soon to become a franchisee himself. The 37-year-old has a background in the restaurant industry and a passion for cooking for over 20 years.
