According to NY1.com, “Manhattan’s Famous Famiglia Pizzeria held a candlelight vigil and prayer service Tuesday for the victims of the Haiti quake.”

“One of the shop’s Haitian employees broke down during the vigil and says his thoughts are with his loved ones back home. ‘I lost six members of my families now we are raising money to see what we can do for the people of Haiti,’ said Famous Famiglia Pizzeria employee Pierre Louis Leiblitz. ‘This is just a way for us to do a small part and hopefully encourage others to do more,’ said Famiglia Pizzeria President & CEO Paul Kolaj. All of Tuesday’s sales at the pizzeria on 50th Street and Broadway will be donated to the American Red Cross and Hearts with Haiti.”
