Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, famous for its Chicago-style deep-dish pizzas, plans to open a delivery-and-carryout-only store in Waukesha, Wisconsin, later this year, the company announced recently.

The DELCO store will be Lou Malnati’s latest location in Wisconsin, including three in greater Milwaukee. The company operates more than 60 additional locations in Illinois, Indiana and Arizona, with most of them in the Chicagoland area.

“We’re excited to expand our brand in Wisconsin and make Waukesha home to our fourth location in the Milwaukee market,” said Marc Malnati, son of the chain’s founder, in a press release. “Our partners up north have been critical to our recipe for success. We’ve been sourcing our cheese from the same dairy farmers in Wisconsin for nearly 50 years.”

Malnati said Waukesha is a “vibrant community” that will welcome the addition of 50 jobs offered at the DELCO store, an 1,800-square foot space previously occupied by a Firehouse Subs location.

Lou Malnati’s opened its first Wisconsin location in Fox Point in December 2019. The company went on to open a store in Brookfield in August 2020 and in Greenfield this January.
