(Press Release) JACKSONVILLE, Fla., July 18, 2012 – Coming out of the great recession, The Loop Pizza Grill is looking to grow with the opening of a new prototype restaurant in Jacksonville’s St. Johns Town Center. Â
Â
Construction on the 4,000-square-foot restaurant will start in July. With seating for 150 guests, this location will be the largest in North Florida. It will be the first to use a new design concept created by Loop co-founder/designer Terry Schneider with architect and designer Rebecca Davisson. Â
Â
“After opening we will begin to incorporate key elements of the new design into existing Loop locations in Florida and North Carolina,” said Cathy Manzon, The Loop Marketing Director. “Our hope is to then use the new design prototype for additional Loop franchise opportunities in the future.”
Â
The St. Johns Town Center location is scheduled to open mid-to-late October. Â
Â
Like many smaller regional restaurant chains, The Loop encountered some head-wind from the recession. This time was used as an opportunity to revisit recipes, systems and procedures. The results have been improved food quality, revenue and profitability.
“Our new prototype restaurant is a sign of progress for The Loop,” said Loop co-founder, Mike Schneider. “We are now in a position to grow and thrive.”
Â
The recipe for The Loop’s success is a menu that combines America’s most popular dining choices, a value proposition based on quality and portion size, a service style that complements the lifestyle factors of guests and a successful franchise business model.
