According to a news report from suburbanchicagonews.com, “The Original Seefurth Family’s Pizza Beer Co. is now incorporated and its pizza-flavored brew is on its way to being marketed on local store shelves as Mamma Mia Pizza Beer.”

“We hope to be on the shelves either by late October or early November,” said Tom Seefurth, who along with his wife, Athena, developed the recipe for the tomato, basil, oregano and garlic-flavored beer in his family’s garage,” said the story. “He has been brewing his own beer for nine years. The Campton Township man continues getting lots of buzz surrounding the beer, which he said is a completely different twist than anything in the industry. He said the beer is fine to drink on its own but is also geared toward the culinary world, where it makes a great marinade.”
