Detroit-based Little Caesars will promote its pizza to millions of TV viewers as it kicks off its third year as the Official Pizza Sponsor of the NFL. With strong ties between pizza and football, the brand aims to serve as fans’ go-to pizza chain both before and during game times.
Little Caesars is launching numerous efforts for the 2024-25 football season:
- Special deals and promotions will run from August 28 to September 10, such as free delivery and $0 service fees on orders placed through the Little Caesars app and on LittleCaesars.com. Meanwhile, the Pizza!Pizza! Pregame (designed to incentivize guests to accept challenges and earn rewards in the Little Caesars app) is returning with an all-new challenge program and prizes for fans who order Little Caesars for their game time meals.
- National TV spots will feature 49ers tight end George Kittle, Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
- Partnerships with 10 NFL teams will feature specialized branding, concessions, and in-game activations in their local markets. Partner teams include the Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans.
- Partnerships with individual players will include the Saints’ Cam Jordan, Rams’ Puka Nacua, Steelers’ Pat Freiermuth, Chiefs’ Trent McDuffie, Titans’ Chidobe Awuzie, Dolphins’ Jaylen Waddle and Eagles’ Lane Johnson.
- The Little Caesars Love Kitchen, a restaurant on wheels, will be rolling into key NFL event cities throughout the year to serve communities in need. To celebrate its kickoff, the first serving will be in the home of the Super Bowl LVIII champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, on September 4. Partnering with Downtown Council of Kansas City’s community services center, The Beehive and NourishKC’s Kansas City Community Kitchen, pizza will be served to more than 600 people. Some beloved players will also make an appearance.
While the brand hints at more special events to come throughout the season, Little Caesars is counting on these initial efforts to firmly re-establish its football focus. “We are so excited to build on the momentum from the last two years of this partnership, starting with offering free delivery once again for season kickoff, helping football fans and pizza lovers make the most of their game day experience,” said Greg Hamilton, chief marketing officer at Little Caesars. “Little Caesars has always been the value leader in the pizza space, and our partnership with the NFL has been incredibly successful in bringing that value to even more fans. As football and pizza are a perfect match, we’re excited to offer free delivery once again this season, making it easier for football fans and pizza lovers to enjoy the game with their favorite Little Caesars pizza.”
