According to DetNews.com, "Little Caesars is reviving its iconic two-for-one Pizza! Pizza! promotion with a twist after a 13-year layoff, the company said."

"The promotion, called Pizza! Pizza! Pantastic, features two rectangular pizzas for $9.99 — one pepperoni and one Ultimate Supreme with five toppings — with a dozen large slices. The offer that starts Monday will be available only in Metro Detroit through the end of the year as a test to see whether the idea should be rolled out nationwide. The promotion combines the company's two-for-one Pizza! Pizza! deal with the convenience of its Hot-N-Ready concept, where the pies are ready when the customers walk in the door. 'We're trying to capture the nostalgia of Pizza! Pizza!" said Brian Pattison, Midwest Zone vice president for Little Caesar Enterprises Inc. in Detroit. "It does strike a chord with our customers.' Little Caesars has earned a reputation for creating innovative promotions that transform the industry since Mike and Marian Ilitch opened their first shop in Garden City 51 years ago. The company, which has grown to be the nation's fourth-largest pizza chain, sold more than 2.2 billion pizzas during the Pizza! Pizza! era from 1979-97. That promotion was eventually replaced with the Hot-N-Ready idea, Pattison said."
