According to the Detroit Free Press, “Kraft Foods has recalled 7,500 frozen pizzas after mislabeling by the company inadvertently left a soy product off the ingredients list.”

“No one has reported any adverse reactions, according to the announcement issued today by the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service. The soy protein concentrate can cause a reaction in people who are allergic.The company announced the recall of 17.2-ounce packages of pizza bearing the Jack’s Original sausage and pepperoni label on the front of the package and Tombstone Original 12 Pepperoni pizza label on the back.The recalled pizzas have product number 7192100519 and lot code 09320. The pizzas, produced July 19, were distributed in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Washington and Wisconsin.Kraft spokeswoman Adrienne Dimopoulos said the pizzas’ ingredients label was accidentally left off the package. Consumers with questions about the recall can call Kraft at 800-394-6989,” the story said.
