The Just Pizza Charity Golf Outing is scheduled to kick off Monday Sept, 21 009 at the Diamond Head golf course in Cheektowaga, NY. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Women and Children’s Hospital Neonatal Care unit, Sister’s Hospital of Charity Neonatal Care unit and Upstate New York Transplant Services. Sponsorship donations for the event start at $100.

Giving back to the community is what the Just Pizza Charity Golf Tournament is all about. As President and founder of Just Pizza I decided several years ago that I needed to create a vehicle by which I could repay the community that has been the true foundation for our success. In 1983 my eldest son, Rudy III was born at Children’s Hospital and was given a ï¬fty-ï¬fty chance of survival. Thanks to their gifted staff of professionals, Rudy pulled through.Recently, my family and the family of Mark Campanella, our VP of Just Pizza Franchise systems were personally effected by the respective neonatal care units of Sisters of Charity Hospital and Women and Children’s Hospital during the births of our ï¬rst grand children. These events in our lives made them an obvious choice as two of the benefactors of this ï¬rst Charity Tournament. Additionally, Joe Luzio, Just Pizza General Manager brought the exceptional work of Upstate New York Transplant Services to my attention. We are happy to make them a third beneï¬ciary of this event. I have been blessed in many ways by many people in my personal and business life and hope in some way this year’s tournament and subsequent tournaments will positively touch the lives of thousands of Western New Yorkers.
