(Press Release) Plano, TX, September 23, 2013 — According to the United Nations, nearly one billion people are going hungry worldwide and one in eight people go to bed hungry every night.

For the seventh consecutive year, Pizza Hut through its World Hunger Relief Campaign will continue its mission to help put an end to this global issue. Beginning today and continuing through Saturday, November 9, the company will collect donations in-store and online at PizzaHut.com all of which will go directly toward the World Food Programme's operations to fight hunger.

Contributions are as follows: $1 (feeds four children for a day), $3 (can feed two children for a week), $5 (feeds a child for a month) and $10 (feeds an entire classroom for a day). Last year alone, Pizza Hut helped feed more than 12 million children in need.
