It never hurts to plan ahead for your National Pizza Day feast. John Jetts, the president and CEO of Jet’s America, parent company of Jet’s Pizza, already has his meal figured out.

Not surprisingly, he’ll opt for one of his company’s own Detroit-style pies on Thursday, February 9. “My favorite order is the 8 Corner Pizza Super Special,” he said in a recent press release. “That’s what I’ll be eating on National Pizza Day.”

Every piece of Jetts’ beloved deep-dish 8 Corner Super Special pie is a crispy corner slice. It features mozzarella, pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, onions and green peppers.

The CEO likely eats for free, but customers looking for a special deal on National Pizza Day will get a bargain at Jet’s Pizza. The company is offering 20% off all menu-priced pizzas to customers who order online that day using the code PIZZA23. It’s a one-day offer only, for both pickup and delivery.

Jet’s has emerged as a technology leader in the pizza industry. In November 2022, the company announced that it had surpassed $100 million in orders through its AI technology that includes text ordering, pro-ordering (which allows customers to type their orders directly into Jet’s digital system) and a phone bot.

As PMQ reported in its December 2022 Pizza Power Report, Jet’s Pizza is one of the country’s top pizza chains in annual company sales, ranked at No. 12, according to research firm Technomic. It’s ranked at No. 33 for average sales per unit.
