Leave it to Italian schoolchildren to be picky about their pizzas. According to a report in the Daily Meal, about 220 kids in Milan turned up their noses at their schools' regular pizza offering and ordered from a special menu for sick kids instead. Called the "white menu," this one consisted of boiled chicken served with white rice and carrots. The kids opted for hospital food as part of a protest of what they consider to be inferior pizza on offer in their schools' cafeterias. About 30 percent of the kids at three Milan schools participated in the protest, forcing the catering company behind the school lunches to look for a new pizza supplier.
