ARLINGTON, TX–(Marketwire – December 11, 2007) –
Intura Solutions, LP (Intura), a leading manufacturer of point-of-sale (POS) and enterprise management software for quick service, fast casual and delivery restaurant concepts, today announced that eThor Media Ltd (eThor) and O-Web Technologies Ltd (ONOSYS) have been certified with Intura’s Remote Order Interface (ROI) module to process internet-based orders for customers using the Intura Vision point-of-sale (POS) solution.
“eThor is very excited to be the first online ordering company to launch a fully integrated online ordering system with the Intura Vision POS solution,” stated Gary K. Ziegler, president of eThor. “Intura’s new ROI module uses the most up to date technology available today, which has allowed us to build a state of the art online ordering system for their customers.”
With the release of Intura Vision 4.00, Intura introduced the Remote Order Interface (ROI) module providing a method for certified companies to submit orders from remote order sources such as the internet, cable TV, call centers and kiosks. The ROI module allows direct communications from the remote order source to the Intura Vision POS system.
“Our clients expect the best from Intura and we are proud to welcome both eThor and ONOSYS as new Intura Vision integration partners in the online ordering market,” stated Gary W. Peek II, president of Intura. “Their integration with our advanced ROI technology brings robust capabilities and a rich user experience for consumers who want to order from restaurants via the Internet.”
Companies such as eThor and ONOSYS create integrations with Intura Vision by communicating directly with the ROI web service using secure XML messaging. The ROI web service provides a robust API to integrators allowing them more flexibility while creating the online ordering experience for consumers. Intura provides a certification process for these companies and awards them the status of Intura Vision ROI Certified upon completion.
“Now that the ONOSYS has been fully integrated with the Intura Vision POS solution, we’re able to offer their clients a completely streamlined online ordering experience,” said Stan Garber, senior sales manager of ONOSYS. “Online ordering is going to have a breakout year in 2008 and we are excited to be a partner with such a reputable company as Intura.”
