(NORWALK, CT) February 15, 2007 – For the first time in five years the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York is completely sold out of booth space. This leading industry event, will host more companies then ever including 175 that are new to the Show, showcase over 215 new products and services, offer dozens of exciting special events, and be the ultimate gathering place for the New York metro area restaurant and foodservice industry from Sunday, March 4 through Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

Excitement is building as 18,000+ food industry professionals plan to convene at the Show where they will experience everything from the Ultimate Barista Challenge to the brand new Japanese Demonstration Theater sponsored by JETRO, the 18th annual US Pastry Competition and the Nation’s Restaurant News New Product Gallery.Â

In addition there will be a special appearance by Vinny Pastor from the Sopranos and his gang from The Wise Guys satellite radio program at the 3rd Annual New York Pizza Show which is co-located with the restaurant show. And, a prestigious panel of industry experts including the Commissioner from the New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene will discuss “Going Trans Fat Free” at a seminar sponsored by DOW AgroSciences. The discussion will include leaders from the New York State Restaurant Association, National Restaurant Association, B.R. Guest, NYC School Foodservice and Dow.Â
