The folks at Ian’s Pizza By the Slice have a hunch about brunch—specifically, that their customers are craving it on the weekends. The small chain, with stores in Seattle, Denver and Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin, has introduced weekend brunch at its North Avenue store in Milwaukee along with a unique menu featuring brand new slices and beverages.
Ian’s launched its brunch program on May 7, with hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The first 25 customers received 16 slice cards for “free pizza for the summer” and a free customized Ian’s Pizza coffee mug. Meanwhile, the company partnered with Anodyne Coffee Roasting Company to create a specialty small-batch coffee drink and collaborated on an apple cider-based “beer-mosa” with Sprecher Brewing.
Menu items will include specialty slices such as:
The Jamberry Jam—a yogurt, rosewater, fresh berry and bloomed granola base topped with seasonal berries, honey pistachio ricotta cream and crunchy ginger granola)
Meat Lovers—Sausage, bacon, ham, scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese
Denver Omelette—Potatoes, ham, bell peppers, onions, scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese
