How one company is conquering the rural pizza market

Any true Southerner knows a great place toget a delicious meal is your local gas station convenience store. An alternative to chicken-on-a-stick, Hunt Brothers Pizza is quietly winning over the rural South by slipping into places big-name pizza chains probably couldn't survive.

CBSnews.com reports Hunt Brothers has installed its pizza ovens at so many gas stations and convenience stores that it has more U.S. locations than either Domino's or Pizza Hut. In rural locations like Andersonville, Tennessee, which is too far from the interstate to support traditional fast-food chains, customers can get decent tasting pizza in the same place they buy their bait for that day's fishing trip. And some customers say the quality of the pizza beats Pizza Hut and Domino's.
