Baseball fans in Tampa can enjoy Colony Grill’s famous hot oil bar pies on game days this season through the brand’s new four-year partnership as the Official Pizza of the Tampa Bay Rays.
Starting in 2025 at George M. Steinbrenner Field, Colony Grill will serve 8″ personal pies, offering fans a choice of a plain cheese, pepperoni or the Hot Oil topping. The stadium setting offers a new way to experience the unique bar-style pie that has made Colony Grill a staple in the northeast for 90 years.

As part of the four-year deal, Colony Grill will introduce the “Hot Oil Homers” promotion to further enhance the game day experience. Every Rays home run in Tampa will activate a Buy One, Get One offer. For any pizza purchased, fans who attended qualifying games will receive a free Hot Oil pizza redeemable at Colony Grill’s Tampa or St. Petersburg locations.

Founded in 1935 in Stamford, Connecticut, Colony Grill is the home of the Original Hot Oil Bar Pie—a famous thin-crust, bar-style pizza best served with a signature hot oil topping. Colony Grill has locations across Connecticut, New York, Virginia, Florida and Maryland. The company opened its first Florida location in downtown St. Petersburg in 2021, followed by its Tampa Midtown location in 2022. Colony Grill also operates the “Hot Oil Rig,” a fully equipped pizza truck available for private parties and special events.
