Chicago company to award $2,500 cash and ghoulish Halloween “Trick or Eat” pizza party –

Woodridge, IL, August 26, 2008 – Chicago area horror movie and pizza fans alike will think they’ve died and gone to heaven this Halloween.  That’s because Home Run Inn Pizza announces its Video Challenge on YouTube, a search for the best 90-second, original horror film featuring Home Run Inn pizza.  The winner will receive $2,500 cash, a free “Trick or Eat” Halloween pizza party for his/her friends at home and the scariest outdoor Halloween decorations on the block.  The contest runs from September 1 – October 10, 2008 and for rules and more information on how to enter, visit http://www.homeruninn.com/halloween
“We wanted to do something to get our customers involved during our favorite season,” explains Gina Bolger, Home Run Inn Director of Marketing.  “Using YouTube is a great way to make it easy for everyone to be creative.  We’re looking for some frightening ideas!”    

Chicago area contestants are encouraged to be freakishly creative by using music, humor and any other unique elements to scare the Home Run Inn judges.   Once five finalists have been selected, consumers will be invited to vote via YouTube for their favorite and the grand prize winner.  In addition, the five finalists will receive free frozen pizza for one full year.  

The grand prize package includes $2,500 cash plus extravagant, high-tech Halloween decorations for the exterior of the winner’s home.  In addition, the winner will receive a Home Run Inn “Trick or Eat” Halloween pizza party featuring the new Signature and Ultra Thin pizzas for 20 friends and family.  Plus, free pizza slices will be handed out to neighborhood trick-or-treaters.  The Home Run Inn Pizza Team will be on hand at the party to be sure that all guests are properly frightened and fed.

In Chicagoland, the contest is being promoted in grocery stores with significant point-of-purchase marketing and in all seven Home Run Inn pizzeria locations.
