Valentine’s Day is one of the biggest days of the year for dining out—and pizzerias coast to coast are spreading (and cashing in on) the love. Here’s a roundup of some notable specials, pizzas and charitable efforts that pizzerias are offering around the holiday that celebrates togetherness:
Since 2019, New York City’s East Village Pizza has offered Margherita, Pepperoni, Cheese and White pies in heart-shaped form for a unique way to share the love with family, friends or significant others on Valentine’s Day. Available year-round—but especially popular on Valentine’s Day—these heart-shaped pizzas (pictured above) come in limited-edition “Happy Valentine’s Day” boxes, making them an ideal gift for loved ones—whether for a romantic dinner at home, a fun family treat or a Galentine’s Day celebration.
California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), based in Costa Mesa, California, is celebrating Valentine’s Day with its Sweet Deal for Two, starting at $55 and available for dine-in and takeout. From February 10 to 16, guests can choose one starter, two entrees (including heart-shaped pizzas) and one dessert from the Sweet Deal for Two prix fixe menu. Additionally, guests who purchase the deal can keep the romance alive after Valentine’s Day with a bounce-back card to return to CPK to redeem additional offers. Guests can redeem their bounce-back card from February 17 to March 2.

Dedham House of Pizza in Dedham, Massachusetts, the first restaurant in the greater Boston area to serve heart-shaped, New England pan-style pizzas for Valentine’s Day, is bringing them back this year. In addition, the business is re-introducing “wine perks” for a complete dinner-and-drinks package: Pizza lovers can enjoy a heart-shaped cheese pie on Valentine’s Day for $18.50, and the limited-time pizza can be accompanied by two splits of wine for $25.

Davenport, Iowa-based Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream created its heart-shaped pizza for sale February 1 to 14. Happy Joe’s fans can customize their heart-shaped pizza with any flavors and toppings from the Happy Joe’s menu—such as the famous Taco Joe, the Happy Joe’s Special, the Super Max, BLT, Bacon Chicken Ranch or any other of its specialty options. “Our heart shaped pizzas are delicious, unpretentious and, of course, made for love,” says Tom Sacco, Happy Joe’s chief happiness officer, CEO and president. “Our customers love this Valentine’s option, and we love them. We’re so lucky to be hit by Cupid’s arrow. With our Happy promotion, it’s basically a two-for-one deal on happiness.”
Jet’s Pizza, based in Sterling Heights, Michigan, is offering its fan-favorite, four-slice heart-shaped pizza, along with heart-shaped Jet’s Bread and heart-shaped Cinnamon Stix, on February 14 at all locations. “Nothing brings people together like pizza, and what better way to say ‘I love you’ than a heart-shaped pizza from Jet’s?” asks John Jetts, CEO and president of Jet’s America, Inc. “We look forward to bringing back this fun tradition and sharing the love of pizza year after year.”
Lou Malnati’s also celebrates this year with heart-shaped pizzas, served throughout the month of February at all locations in Chicago, Indianapolis, Milwaukee and Phoenix. Fans in other areas can order them for shipping nationwide via retailer Tastes of Chicago. The 9”, heart-shaped, deep-dish pizzas are available in cheese, sausage or pepperoni varieties.
The brand is also offering special activations around the holiday, such as with the LOUve-mobile, which is spreading the love all month long in Chicago. Meanwhile, the Pizza Proposal promotion searched for one lucky person to help “Dish Out the Love” and create the marriage proposal of their dreams. To be considered, fans had to enter at loumalnatis.com/proposal with their love story and why they want Lou’s to be part of their big day. One winner was selected on January 29 to receive an epic engagement package, including a professional photographer, an engagement party hosted at Lou’s, and late-night bites for their future wedding. Three runner-up winners will also receive late-night bites for their wedding celebrations.
Finally, Lou Malnati’s teamed up with Feeding America local food banks, donating $1 for every heart-shaped pizza ordered from one of its locations from February 1 to 28, to help provide meals to neighbors in need. Guests looking to avoid the Valentine’s Day rush could also support the cause by purchasing half-baked or frozen heart-shaped deep dish pizzas at any location to take and bake at home.
Pantry Pizza in Dorchester, Massachusetts, is offering Valentine’s Day Heart Shaped Pizzas for $19 (toppings are additional) from February 10 to 16.

Atlanta-based Papa Johns offered a Valentine’s Day special with $11.99 heart-shaped pizzas, which returned from February 10 to February 16.
Papa Murphy’s, the take-and-bake chain based in Vancouver, Washington, brought back heart-shaped HeartBaker Pizzas on February 1 to 14. “The HeartBaker Pizza has become a Valentine’s Day tradition for so many of our customers,” says Tracey Ayres, vice president of brand and innovation. “It’s a fun, delicious way to celebrate with loved ones, and we’re thrilled to pair it with our Sweetheart of a Deal Bundle this year, making it even easier and more affordable to treat the family or someone special.”
The HeartBaker Pizza is available at $11 for a large cheese or pepperoni, and customers can go dairy-free for $3 extra. For those looking to make the holiday extra sweet, the Sweetheart of a Deal Bundle includes a HeartBaker Pizza and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough for $14.
Los Angeles-based Round Table Pizza spreads the love in February with special offers and deals. Starting on Valentine’s Day, February 14, until February 17, guests can earn 14% off any L or XL Pizza, including heart-shaped pizzas, with code RTP125. “Year after year, February is a month that we look to further lean into our founder’s promise to ‘Share a Little Pizza with Someone You Love,’” says Taylor Voelker, senior director of marketing at Round Table Pizza. “Whether our fans are commemorating National Pizza Day, watching their team in the big game, or sharing a heart-shaped pizza with their sweetheart, we want to celebrate those memorable moments with them, topped with a gold-standard pizza baked with love!”

Phoenix-based Peter Piper Pizza is spreading the love with heart-shaped pizzas that contribute to a great cause. Returning for its second year, its initiative donates $1 from every heart-shaped pizza sold to Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals across Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas. Funds raised through February 28 will go directly to the “Greatest Needs” funds at local affiliate CMN Hospitals in 11 cities, allowing each hospital to allocate funds to address its most pressing needs, such as life-saving treatments, new equipment or patient financial assistance.
The heart-shaped pizzas are available as large, one-topping pizzas. They’re offered alongside Peter Piper Pizza’s new limited-time Chocolate Mini Bundt Cakes, available only at Arizona locations.
“We have long been committed to giving back to the families in our local communities that have supported us throughout the years,” says Genaro Perez, chief marketing officer at Peter Piper Pizza. “Last year, this fundraiser generated $25,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and we’re determined to build on that success for an even greater impact in 2025.”
