Sacramento-based Pizza Guys opened seven new restaurants in 2025, strengthening its presence across California, Nevada and Texas and reaching a significant milestone of 100 locations systemwide.

A new store in Plano, Texas, was the brand’s first in the Lone Star State. In California, Pizza Guys opened stores in Palo Alto, Oceanside, Milpitas, Clovis and Cypress. A new location also opened in Reno, Nevada.

According to a press release, Pizza Guys, which turns 40 this year, also signed development agreements for six future locations currently in progress across key California markets, including San Jose, Westminster, Tustin, San Diego, Lathrop and Anaheim.

To support this growth, Pizza Guys said it has made “meaningful enhancements to its business model with a renewed focus on franchisee success. The operations team introduced more structured training for all new franchisees, supported by clear guidelines and proven systems designed to streamline operations, improve consistency and strengthen profitability across the network.”

The brand also added new support roles, including a franchise field representative, a training coordinator and a graphic designer.

“The growth we achieved in 2025 reflects the strength of our franchise partners and the systems we’ve put in place to support them,” Shahpour Nejad, CEO and founder of Pizza Guys, said. “By continuing to invest in training, operations and infrastructure, we’re able to grow thoughtfully while staying true to the quality and value our guests expect.”

As stated in the press release, the brand “expects delivery and takeout to remain resilient growth drivers as pizza continues to offer strong value, and anticipates AI-powered ordering tools will play an increasing role in improving efficiency and enhancing customer experience.”

With 2026 marking Pizza Guys’ 40th anniversary, guests can expect special promotions throughout the year, including 40% off deals and additional limited time offers.

“Reaching 40 years is an incredible accomplishment, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our franchise partners, team members and loyal guests,” Nejad added. “We’re excited to celebrate together and continue building the future of Pizza Guys.”
