Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, with 40-plus restaurants around the country, said it will continue its partnership with No Kid Hungry this September, raising funds for programs that provide meals to hungry children nationwide.
Since 2012, Grimaldi’s has raised more than $1 million to fight childhood hunger through its annual fundraising campaign. That’s equivalent to up to 10 million meals donated to date, the company said.
From September 1 through 30, Grimaldi’s restaurants nationwide will match guest donations made at participating locations to No Kid Hungry with a bounce-back card redeemable on their next visit. Bounce-back cards will be gifted in increments of $5 up to a total of $25 per visit. For each dollar raised, No Kid Hungry will provide up to 10 meals to hungry children across the U.S.
“As we navigate another unique back-to-school season, I look forward to seeing our communities join together in the fight against childhood hunger this September,” said Eric Greenwald, president of Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. “We are grateful for the overwhelming support of our guests as we enter the tenth year of our partnership with No Kid Hungry.”
