“Brett Kinzel, owner of Napoli’s Italian Café, is not staying up late worrying about the pizza contest at this weekend’s Main Street Days,” according to the Star Telegram.

“The three-day festival, billed as “a pizza experience,” will feature the People’s Pizza Pick contest for the second year. Napoli’s did not win last year.

“I really don’t worry about the contest part,” Kinzel said Wednesday. “That is not why I do it. Our focus is putting out a good product.”

Napoli’s, one of nine local restaurants vying for the public’s vote, will offer a New York Sicilian pizza with a choice of toppings, cheese, pepperoni and “some type of supreme,” Kinzel said.

Pizza is not often associated with Grapevine, which emphasizes its history, recreation and wine. But for a second year, Main Street Days looks to draw thousands of visitors seeking the best pizza.”
