“Finding ways to incorporate fresh local produce into the diets of area families, especially low-income residents, is the purpose of a new Cumberland Valley Grange gardening project that was awarded a grant Friday,” according to Public Opinion.

“Pizza In a Pot, a gardening program organized by the grange, was awarded a $2,000 grant from the Carlisle Area Health and Wellness Foundation for its container gardening project, which teaches residents to grow the ingredients necessary to make their own pizza.”
