GOOD FOOD & WINE BRISBANE: BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER
The 2007 Good Food & Wine Show Brisbane is set to be the biggest and best yet. After the success of last year’s event demand for space has been unprecedented and we have had to secure additional space not once, but twice in the past 6 months! Queensland is a hot market right now for food and wine and the Good Food & Wine Show offers a unique opportunity to reach a qualified consumer audience.
MASSIVE MARKETING CAMPAIGN KICKS OFF
A $250k visitor marketing campaign is now in place, designed to attract the kind of visitors our exhibitors and sponsors want to see. This year sees our partnership with News Magazines extend to Queensland for the first time, meaning the Show will have the backing of Delicious, Australian Good Taste and Super Food Ideas. In tandem with an increased spend across radio, TV and the Courier Mail this represents an unprecedented marketing campaign that aims to build on last year’s results where nearly 15,000 foodies attended the Show spending in excess of $1.2million.
NEW CHEFS: NEW THEATRES
This year’s Show sees no less than 4 new theatres on the Show floor. The capacity of the Celebrity Theatre has been increased by 50% to cater for visitor demand and the new look theatre will now seat 750 people. Among the chefs confirmed to appear are Curtis Stone, Ben O’Donoghue, Tobie Puttock, Matt Moran, Anthony Telford and Brisbane’s own Alastair McLeod.
In other exciting developments, the popular Australian Good Taste and Super Food Ideas kitchens come to Brisbane for the first time, while our new 100 seat Riedel Wine Theatre makes its Queensland debut.
