Next month, the pinnacle of the pizza industry will gather together in New York City, at the Second Annual Global Pizza Summit and inaugural US Caputo Cup Pizza Competition. Taking place Jan. 19-20, 2015, attendees will get the
inside scoop on what’s sizzling in the pizza world, including educational seminars, cooking
demonstrations and other programming relevant to pizza restaurants. Pizza-makers will have
the opportunity to show off their stuff, while competing for prizes and the esteemed title of the
first US Caputo Cup Champion.

The Global Pizza Summit includes presentations by Italian food producers and the highly
anticipated unveiling of Caputo’s first-ever NY style pizza flour. Also on the schedule is industry
experts’ discussions about social media platforms, trends in the pizza industry and maximizing
gluten free sales. About 100-150 restaurant operators, managers, food distributors and
pizza makers throughout North America are expected to attend.

After 13 years of international success, Naples, Italy’s largest, most renowned pizza
competition is premiering in the United States. At the Caputo Cup Pizza Competition, pizza
makers are invited to take the stage and go for the gold in two categories: Traditional Neapolitan
and New York Style. Contestants will present their crafty creations to an esteemed panel of
judges composed of industry professionals and restauranteurs, who will score entries based on
taste, visual presentation and originality. The first place winner to capture the crown in each
category will receive $1,000 and one pallet of Caputo pizza flour. Contestants are required to
bring their own ingredients, while show management will provide ovens, equipment, preparation
area and refrigeration space.

The Global Pizza Summit and Caputo Cup Pizza Competition will be held at the newly designed
and renovated Neapolitan Express Studio located at 232 East 111th Street in New York City. Entry
to both the pizza summit and competition is complimentary, however attendees must register in
