Gatti’s Pizza, of Austin, TX, has been satisfying pizza cravings for over 40 years. Now, they are set to satisfy a tech craving by launching their mobile ordering iPhone App available for download now. As Austin is home to the University of Texas and various high-tech companies, offering the iPhone App to consumers for mobile ordering was only natural.
Scott Kelly, Director of Information Technology at Gatti’s Pizza said, “Our customers have come to rely on the mobile tools that smart phones provide them on a day-to-day basis, it only makes sense that we would extend our brand into those same mobile platforms. When Revention told me they were developing an iPhone App, I knew that this was something we needed to be a part of. We had already begun researching mobile ordering solutions and recognized that integration into the store’s point of sale was the key to success. Without such integration, the process would be cumbersome for both the brand and the customer.” “Revention’s mission has always been to be the one stop shop for any restaurant owner. Adding the iPhone app was the natural progression of our online ordering solution. We will continue to embrace new technology to help our customers grow their businesses,” said Jeff Doyle, CEO Revention.
Gatti’s Pizza has been working exclusively with Revention as their preferred point of sale vendor. Gatti’s has incorporated four solutions provided by Revention, the point of sale system, HungerRush online ordering, C3 Customer Contact Center and iPhone mobile application. “The seamless integration between all of the solutions would be hard to duplicate by individual companies. Having such a solution from one provider makes the administration of menus, prices and reporting just what we need to manage our business,” said Scott Kelly.

About Gatti’s Pizza
Gatti’s Pizza has been satisfying cravings for over 40 years. Our founder, Colonel Eure opened The Pizza Place in September 1964 in Stephenville, Texas. In 1969, he moved to Austin, and opened “Mr. Gatti’s” as a tribute to his wife’s maiden name. Colonel Eure’s vision is now 140+ stores strong and counting, including GattiTown and delivery/carryout restaurants. Much has changed in 40 years, but the most important things have stayed the same. We’re still following the Colonel’s recipes and causing new cravings to be born every day.
