Gastamo Group, the Denver-based restaurant and hospitality development company behind concepts such as Perdida, Park & Co, Park Burger and Lady Nomada, is continuing its expansion with the opening of a new Homegrown Tap & Dough location in Parker, Colorado.
Slated to open this month at 19320 Cottonwood Drive, this marks Gastamo Group’s 13th restaurant and fifth Homegrown Tap & Dough location in the Denver metro area.
As part of Gastamo Group’s vision to create community-driven dining experiences, the Parker location will feature rustic ambience, hand-tossed pizzas, curated cocktails and a local craft beer selection. The new location also “highlights a thoughtfully curated vision inspired by luxury ranch living and the heritage of the American West,” according to the company. “After nearly three years in development, Homegrown Tap & Dough in Parker represents a complete redevelopment of the space—designed to balance comfort, tradition and modern style.”
“Parker’s strong sense of community and family-oriented atmosphere make it an ideal location for Homegrown Tap & Dough,” adds Jean-Philippe Failyau, CEO and co-founder of Gastamo Group. “Our focus has always been creating exceptional dining experiences that foster connection, and we’re excited to bring Homegrown Tap & Dough to Parker.”
Homegrown Tap & Dough combines a cozy ski-lodge-inspired atmosphere with elevated casual dining. “The Parker location will continue this tradition, with custom interior elements designed to reflect the town’s family-friendly and community-focused vibe,” the company announced. “Between the restaurant’s custom upholstery, bar design and luxury residential finishes, the 275-seat space is poised to become a community gathering place.”
The new outpost also places a strong emphasis on creating a space for sports enthusiasts, with more TVs than any other Homegrown location, including three outdoor screens and a 150” projector for showcasing major sporting events and playoff games. At the start of the summer season, the interactive play area will open—a space designed for children, complete with a roping station, where kids can practice their lassoing skills on calf roping dummies and a bocce ball court that can be watched from the bar and outdoor patio. The large outdoor patio space can host community events like outdoor concerts, private parties and more.
“We consider every detail when we open a restaurant,” says Peter Newlin, Gastamo Group chief vision officer and co-founder. “It’s our mission to create experiences that transport our guests out of their day-to-day and into an approachable community atmosphere that is unique to the area.”
The opening of the Parker location continues the growth of Gastamo Group, which is focusing on the next generation of community-centered casual dining in the Denver metro area and the growing communities that surround the city. The group’s concepts are designed to resonate with local audiences while showcasing regional ingredients and culinary inspiration. Its growth in Colorado also aligns with broader trends in the hospitality industry, emphasizing scalable growth through proven concepts while adapting to the unique needs of each location.
For Gastamo Group, this latest opening underscores its mission: “to create spaces where people come together over great food and genuine hospitality.”
Meanwhile, Homegrown Tap & Dough, founded in Denver in 2014, aims to provide an approachable Italian restaurant concept that honors the beauty of Colorado’s landscapes and ingredients. The menu has evolved from exclusively hand-tossed pizza to now include classic Italian dishes like Pepperoni Rolls, Chicken Parmesan, Classic Caesar Salad, sandwiches and more. Each Homegrown location is “quintessentially Colorado,” featuring real gondolas straight from ski resorts reminiscent of back-country adventures, custom stone fireplaces, and other artifacts that celebrate the history and culture of Colorado.
Gastamo Group was born out of a desire to cultivate a community gathering spot powered by quality food and gourmet ingredients. Philippe Failyau launched the first Park Burger in 2009, and an idea was ignited: communal locations for food and drink. Peter Newlin joined forces with Failyau in 2011 to create Gastamo Group. While each concept holds a unique identity, Gastamo Group embraces the mantra “Love the guest. Care for the team. Change the world with hospitality.”Â
