Gourmet, Right Away Pizza Chosen As Alvin and the Chipmunks Favorite!
Everett, WA (October, 2007) –Garlic Jim’s Famous Gourmet Pizza will make its Hollywood debut this holiday season as the “official pizza” in Twentieth Century Fox’s live action/CGI motion picture event ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS, in theaters everywhere December 14. Watch for Garlic Jim’s pizza boxes in a scene in which Alvin, Simon and Theodore dine on our gourmet pizza!
ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS, a global phenomenon to generations of fans, comes to the big screen with a contemporary comic sensibility. Songwriter Dave Seville transforms singing chipmunks Alvin, Simon and Theodore into pop sensations — while the out-of-control trio lays waste to Dave’s home, wreaks havoc with his career, and turns Dave’s once-orderly life upside-down. Starring in the film are Jason Lee, David Cross, Cameron Richardson and, as the voice of the Chipmunks, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, and Jessie McCartney.
To promote Garlic Jim’s Famous Gourmet Pizza as Alvin and the Chipmunks favorite, Garlic Jim’s and Twentieth Century Fox will be giving away a free private screening of Alvin and the Chipmunks and Garlic Jim’s pizza party to one lucky winner and up to 100 friends. Beginning November 1 through November 30, Garlic Jim’s will be hosting the sweepstakes on the Garlic Jim’s website, www.garlicjims.com, where visitors can “Enter to Win a Free Private Screening of Alvin and the Chipmunks and Pizza Party for up to 100 people.” Entrants can input their name and email address for a chance at the random drawing. The drawing will occur on December 1st for one lucky winner with 25 runners-up winning an Alvin and the Chipmunks soundtrack.
Garlic Jim’s will also be running Alvin and the Chipmunk specials throughout November and December that include: a FREE $35 Alvin and the Chipmunks Collectible eMusic Gift Card with any large specialty pizza purchased at regular price, while supplies last, a large pepperoni pizza (or substitute one topping) for $9.88, at every location, and a FREE Alvin and the Chipmunks movie poster, while supplies last, with the purchase of a large pizza and any side item.
