Fresh Brothers is starting 2020 with a vegan theme for January. The Los Angeles-based pizza brand is offering free upgrades of Daiya vegan mozzarella shreds on any pizza, a great opportunity for anyone curious but unwilling to shell out money for vegan cheese just yet.

“With a new year and decade in full force and dairy-free options increasing in demand, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to join forces with Daiya to celebrate Veganuary,” said Scott Goldberg, its executive chef. “We are committed to offering high-quality and tasty alternatives to typical dairy cheeses and hope this promotion encourages our fans to taste plant-based bliss on us this January.”

Anyone familiar with Fresh Brothers can tell the month-long giveaway is true to the pizzeria’s mission. With 20 locations in Southern California, Fresh Brothers has offered vegan toppings like Beyond The Butcher sausage, Impossible Meat, and over 20 types of vegetables fresh from local farms. The pizza chain even has a completely vegan pie with its original vegan crust that is made fresh in-house daily.
